overview & my role
I developed a real-time transport management platform for my university that replaced physical notice boards with live bus tracking, seat booking, and up-to-date schedules.
Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and WebSockets. Students, faculty, staff, and transport managers each get role-based views for live vehicle tracking, seat booking, a live departures display, route maps, and API-driven schedule updates.
I owned the DevOps and Linux server infrastructure end to end, using Docker, Nginx, and automated CI/CD pipelines to keep the platform available during peak morning and evening transit hours.
